European Standard For Non-woven Fabric Bags

This European Standard was prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 120 (Non-woven Fabric Bags), the secretariat of which is held by the Netherlands Standardization Institute (NNI).
This standard is one of a series of standards for bags used for the transport of relief food supplies, prepared at the request of the Commission of the European Communities (CEC).
This standard supersedes EN 277:1989.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 1995, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by October 1995.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
