1. Weaving density tolerance.
Weaving density tolerance refers to the variation (increase or decrease) in the number of flat yarns compared to the specified standard weaving density.
2. Mass per unit area of woven fabric.
The weight per unit area is expressed in grams per square meter (g/m²) and is a key technical specification. This value depends primarily on the warp and weft densities and the thickness of the flat yarns; it influences the fabric's tensile strength and load-bearing capacity, and serves as a critical factor for manufacturers in cost control.
3. Tensile load of woven fabric.
Tensile load is also referred to as tensile strength. Since woven fabric withstands tensile loads in both warp and weft directions, these are designated as warp tensile load and weft tensile load, respectively.
4. Width.
The width of the woven fabric directly affects the bag-making process. For tubular fabric, width is expressed as the "folded width" (or flat width), which is equal to half the circumference.
Width shrinkage rate: The width of the finished bag is slightly less than the width of the fabric immediately after weaving and winding-a phenomenon known as width shrinkage-due to the processes of unwinding, cutting, printing, and sewing.
